The sound of snapping is what wakes Clark. The sun above him glares in his eyes, reminding him of the bright orb that he encountered in the mine...yesterday, or maybe a couple of hours ago. He can't seem to remember just how long it has been. Or where he is for that matter. As he tries to sit up though, the snapping noise again reverberates through the tree tops, but this time it is followed by many more as the branches beneath Clark give way. As he plummets, he considers this all being a dream still and if he hits the ground, it should hurt if its all in his head... It's not.
Clark back flops into a waist deep swamp.
The new location also means a new set of rules for how I want you to interact with the environment. Feel free to roleplay anything you think is assumed to be granted, but in most cases, leave it to me to permit you to do things. For example, you can speak your dialogue with another person, but don't roleplay their reaction. You can tell me you are looking around, but don't assume you find certain things unless I've told you about them. Think of it as playing Dnd on the tabletop more than typing a story. I want you to feel a part of something rather than in control of something.
That being said, REACT.
