It takes using her hands to pull her eyelids open for Samriel to convince herself shes gone blind. Because no matter where she twists her head, she can see utterly nothing. She begins to think back upon the event in the mine and wonder what happened, but no matter how hard she tries, she can't remember what she did after that. Its as if she is completely cut off from time and reality. However, she does feel a cold, hard, smooth floor beneath her, so shes no longer in the mine. At least that rules out one location...
The new location also means a new set of rules for how I want you to interact with the environment. Feel free to roleplay anything you think is assumed to be granted, but in most cases, leave it to me to permit you to do things. For example, you can speak your dialogue with another person, but don't roleplay their reaction. You can tell me you are looking around, but don't assume you find certain things unless I've told you about them. Think of it as playing Dnd on the tabletop more than typing a story. I want you to feel a part of something rather than in control of something.
That being said, REACT.[/b]

I stay on my hands and knees and crawl around the floor feeling for something, anything.

The cold hard floor, which feels like the stone table top down at the butchers, seems to continue forever. Without sight, Samriel's ability to perceive distance has been completely distorted. She does notice however the absurd silence. If she remains still, her breathing becomes obnoxiously loud and when she holds her breath, nothing but her heart beat can be heard. After crawling around for ten minutes or so, she finally reaches a pillar jutting from the ground and just as smooth as the floor. The pillar feels perfectly round, and Samriel can't reach the top of it even when she jumps.

'I must be in some kind of tomb' I think to myself. I keep moving forward trying to find an exit.

It must have been hours that Samriel spent searching. But with the lack of direction and large gaps between columns, she found it impossible to locate any form of exit. All around her felt exactly the same, and she could feel no change in her surroundings.

I decide to just wait. So i find a column and curl up and try to sleep.
