A cold wind rushes over Flint as he awakes. He opens his eyes only to be dazzled by the bright white all around him. Snow covers everything that he can see save for the black of rocks that jut out of the earth. As Flint tries to think back on where he is and how he arrived here, he remembers the purple fog and mystical orb, but his sense of time is hopelessly skewed. Any connection with that time has been completely severed.
The new location also means a new set of rules for how I want you to interact with the environment. Feel free to roleplay anything you think is assumed to be granted, but in most cases, leave it to me to permit you to do things. For example, you can speak your dialogue with another person, but don't roleplay their reaction. You can tell me you are looking around, but don't assume you find certain things unless I've told you about them. Think of it as playing Dnd on the tabletop more than typing a story. I want you to feel a part of something rather than in control of something.
That being said, REACT.
