The light you were following begins to fade, and darkness sets in all around you. For a few moments, you are alone with your apprehension and rapid breathing. But soon a light begins to raise in front of you, the same light from before, but this time it feels more distant and is void of the connection that you felt before. As the light grows, you begin to comprehend what you see as a foot wide orb trapped in the middle of cave wall. You can begin to make out your surroundings. Somehow, although it seemed to have only taken moments, you ventured into the depths of the coal mine.
Whats more, you're not alone.
Six more people stand towards the wall and none seem aware why. And while there is suprise as they discover the same things as you, none look afraid.
Before anyone can speak though, a low, tremondous, rumble reverberates through you. You don't hear it, you feel it. And again, the orb begins to shine brighter. It doesn't move from its spot, but you feel its pressence loom over you as it shines brighter and brighter and the rumble shakes your soul.
For a few moments, you. know. fear.
A second later and you are back in the fog you were in before. You can feel yourself being carried away, and in the few moments of weightlessness, you reach out to the one you care for most.
