In the dark of the night, you lay asleep in your room.
Describe your room, as well as your house and location, in as much detail as you desire. I will fill in the rest as the adventure goes, but you hold a lot of power now to affect your world as you wish.

Aevis's room was spacious enough. To be fair, it was not only his room. He shared his room with his three brothers. His three sisters took another room while his parents took the last. It was a small house, but it was good enough for them. His room was filled with the clutter that four boys would obviously fail to clean. The building was sturdy, and even the floor was wooden. The money Aevis helped produce allowed the family to get a completely wooden flooring rather than the dirt floor most homes had in town. The only area in his room not cluttered was a corner of the room by the window. Aevis kept his desk and all of his books and scrolls in that corner. It was his "study" of sorts, and he was sure to keep it in order. The only ones allowed in that corner were Aevis, his pet wolf pup Noctis (male), and his fox pup Yoru (female). The family farm and home was at the very edge of town near the western mountain. The farm was at the base of the mountain, surrounded by an old fence, and was carefully irrigated. His grandfather took advantage of the slight slope of the mountain to irrigate the large farm. He even made terraces on the mountain to expand. There had never been a mudslide or anything of the sort before, and the lack of exposed soil indicated that it would not happen anytime soon. Still, the farm was a lot to handle, even with nine people (more so eight, since Aevis is selling the goods at market half the time). The farm was not likely to expand further up the mountain. It was too large already and the forest in the mountain was very dense. These were the woods in which Aevis was always exploring.

Although the details are faded, and the images seem to be shrouded in a purple haze, Aevis stands in a room larger than any had ever encountered. The walls were so far away, that by the dim light, he could just make out that they were lined with countless books, glistening with strange runes running down their spines. Even the light in this room was unfamiliar to him. A solitary globe of brightness floated in the middle of the library, suspended by nothing, and as far as Aevis could tell, produced from nothing. Slowly, the orb drifts down to reveal an old man clothed in purple and gold robes reading through a book half his size. The man mutters to himself, seemingly causing the glyphs on the pages to begin to glow, and as he looks up to shoot a quick smirk filled with anticipation, the orb explodes into a radiance that completely washes out the room. Only slowly does Aevis's vision comeback, whereupon he finds himself in his room, surrounded by his sleeping brothers. The purple haze that existed in his dream lingers into reality, permeated by a unique glow that Aevis soon identifies as a light hovering outside his window. Although the eyes can not detect any shifting in the light, Aevis feels a throbbing like that of a heart as he is immersed in the illumination.
React.

At first he just stands there, unable to make sense of what just happened. Leaving the light alone, without so much as just a little investigation, made Aevis uneasy. Finding resolve, Aevis sneaks out of his room. His brothers remain asleep, but Noctis and Yoru awaken and follow their master. Cautious, Aevis takes his father's blade (even though he knows very little of swordplay). He slowly walkes outside and goes around the house to where he saw the light outside his window. The light was bright, yet it did not blind him. His pets began to whimper, but Aevis did not heed them. The light was too captivating. As Aevis snuck closer he felt entranced by the light's beauty. Hypnotized by the light, with his shadow growing ever larger the closer he got. He could no longer bear it. He reached forth. And touched the light.

The brightness flashes to a blinding level, whiting out everything in Aevis's view. Strangely though, he can still see himself clearly. More precisely, he can see all of himself, as if he floated outside of his body, which had now reverted to back to when he was a baby. He could not see the surroundings of his former self, but he shared all of his old thoughts, feeling, and emotions, experiencing and learning anew all of the lessons he had learned through his life.
He remembered the strong, loving hands of his mother, and the swift, stern, and very subtly gentle hands of his father.
He remembered the every more crowded dinner table as new family member kept popping up, or rather, out.
He relived the long days under hot sun, as well as the cool days under the tent at the market.
He reread rereading the journals of his grandfather and then dashing of into the woods to have his own adventures. But the adventures never lasted long enough. Soon or later, he would have to rush home, late to help with dinner, every time, looking back to the woods, certain that there was more he could explore.
And when he was done with his past, Aevis now stood once again in his own, current body. He once again found himself in the purple haze, staring at the glowing orb.
In the end, he hadn't found the adventure he was destined to take...
...It found him...
Wait for everyone else and stayed tuned for the new board, "The Ushering."
